Stephen Beasley, MD
Stephen Beasley, MD, a native of Atlanta, received his undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia, in Athens, GA and his medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine in Savannah, GA. Upon completion of his internship and residency at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC, Dr. Beasley obtained his specialty training at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, AL.
Dr. Beasley is board certified in Internal Medicine & Gastroenterology. He specializes in the technique of Hemorrhoid Banding, also known as rubber band ligation, a minimally invasive outpatient procedure that treats hemorrhoids and helps prevent them from coming back.
Dr. Beasley is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, the American College of Gastroenterology, the American College of Physicians, the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation and the Wilderness Medicine Society.
